Hi, I’m Amanda Rain
I’m a content, copy, and ghost writer based in Singapore, and I’ve been creating content since 2008.
I’ve written, edited and created magazines, books and websites, and the topics range from education to self-help, investment (finances and real estate) to future and legacy planning (wills and funerals).
I also happen to be a realtor (years of writing for real estate clients will do that to you) and I’m learning to dance, a style called West Coast Swing.
If you do look me up on the internet, you won’t find much — most of my clients are book ghost writing clients, and because it’s ghost writing, I’m not going to claim the books as my work, in public, without my clients’ permission. My bookshelf has about 10 books, excluding the updated editions, and each one has my name inside, only for those in the know to find.
26 Letters is a content creation company
I started 26 Letters after reading a line inside Neil Gaiman’s Art Matters:
“Fiction builds empathy.
Fiction is something you build up from twenty-six letters and a handful of punctuation marks, and you, and you alone, using your imagination, create a world, and people it and look out through other eyes.
You’re being someone else, and when you return to your own world, you’re going to be slightly changed.”
I loved how an entire universe could come up from just a tiny handful of letters and marks, so I decided I’d name my company 26 Letters (there’s a slightly longer version of this story, but that’s for the blog).
With 26 Letters I’m bringing my know-how and my love of words to you as a service.
I can help you:
- write an article for a magazine or a website,
- create content for a full magazine issue,
- create a website, using WordPress, and write the content,
- write a book, and help you get it published.
